I tried the vasoline thing and after rubbing for a while i didnt care for the progress i was making, So i looked around for another product (in the garage) that was petrolieum based and found Eagle One Tire Shine.
Sprayed some on and wiped it off. (did a small spot first.) Looked really good, no oxidization left and not nearly as much work. (mine was pretty bad) Took about 15 mins for the whole boat, maybe 30, I was talking and working.
Looks better, less time, less effort, and is smooth and a babys bottom now. Also has no residue, like vasoline, left behind.
As a side note, DON'T use a product called ICE. It is utter CRAP!!!!!!
It leaves a oily film behind that shows finger prints and every other thing that touchs it......Also hard as h**l to get it off again....
