My transducer broke just below the bolt hole. It must have hit the ground. Is there a way to glue it back together or is it history?

Re: Eagle transducer

I think either Gorilla Glue or Superglue will do it, Tim.

Re: Eagle transducer

Super Glue is not a good "void filling" adhesive and Gorilla glue is not much better. What I've found works very well is golf club shafting epoxy. It has glass beads in it and is really tough stuff. If you have a buddy that works at the golf course with a pro shop that does club repairs maybe he/she will get you some. Otherwise there a bunch of on-line golf club shaft, grip, accessory suppliers that handle the stuff.

An epoxy will work best. I've had great luck with Permatex Plastic Weld. NAPA has it.

Just be sure to sand up a good rough surface for the glue to adhere to and degrease before you start.
