ealy vs late 4.3lx vortec

I have a '94 4.3lx vortec 4bbl any advantage to go to new style heads? Will my 12 bolt intake work with the 8 bolt heads considering they are both vortec?

Nope<br />Bolt pattern and bolt angles are different.

Ayuh,.........<br /><br />The Only Thing about Your motor that's of the Vortec Technology,....... Is the Name........<br /><br />Your motor is actually a Pre-vortec bolt pattern.......<br /><br />I'm Hoping to see 10/15hp from the Swap......

Just so our 2 posts aren't confusing.<br />If you change to the new style heads, you need the new style manifold to go with it.<br />The bad part about it, that 10/15 hp gain Bondo mentioned, MAY get you 1 (one) additional MPH for all that expense.
