I'm trying to help out a friend who I gave a boat to with a 75hp Crysler on I don't have the model# but do have a few pics. I think I remember something about it having a Magnapower III system...anyway I can get more info later but wanted to get the ball rolling on some possible solutions.

He said he pulled the carbs apart, cleaned everything, replaced all the fuel lines and put it back together...start it up...runs great for about 30 seconds and dies. Wont start back up...then a worn out bushing inside the starter decided to let go while trying to get it started again...get that fixed and now the gear on the starter starts acting funky...get that fixed and now the boat wont fire at all...tweak the carbs a little more, it fires and runs again for about 30 seconds then wont stay running without the choke fully on. Shut it off, checked all my fittings, connections and what not one more time, fire it up...works perfectly. I gave him my Seloc manual and he had checked syncronization and timing and it looks dead on also has installed new fuel pump diaphram too.

Thanks

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem.Check the pump, squeezie ball, any filters, water in the system. When it stalls again check the bowls for fuel.then go backwards.
Spark tester???Those Magna Junks: when they go they usually GO!!!.J
