Recently purchased this and the twist-throttle on the tiller doesn't adjust the throttle cable in the engine compartment. Of course this is easily fixed in a pinch by popping off the engine cover and manually holding the throttle cable open.
Previous owner says pull the starter cord a bit first, then open the throttle on the tiller, then pull-start the engine. This supposedly disables a magnetic throttle controller that prevents the throttle from being wide open when not in use. Although this sounds great in theory I just can't get it to work.
Also the engine starts to die at full throttle after a few minutes unless I bring it to idle for about 30 seconds then I can open her up again. Is this normal until it warms up all the way? It tends to get better after 15+ minutes but it's still a pain and doesn't go away completely.
Any ideas here?
