early 80s Lund Mr Pike steering cable

I've attached 2 photos of the rack steering cable I'm trying to replace. I've tried two different teleflex cables with racks. Both 12 footers. The width of my track is exactly 1.5 inches. One of the teleflex racks was too wide by 1/8 inch. The other had a different mounting pattern and appeared to narrow to possibly be correct. From the looks of the rack on the picks, it looks like a guy might be able to just replace the cable? ?? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

One option would be to give Lund a call. Not one of the dealers. I've talked with them directly a number of times and they have always been very helpful. There are only a few manufacturers of those units and I doubt Lund had them made OEM just for them so they may be able to give you the supplier and a part number.
