early evinrude cylinder color

I have a 1939-1941 evinrude outboard 5 hp, model is 4313 00713. I wonder if anyone knows what is the factory color of the cylinder heads on this model. I want to restore this as accurately as possible, Ive seen some are painted silver , brown and some decked out with chrome! Thanks for your help!
