First off cant find out what year my mariner 40hp 2stroke 2 cylinder is. The serial numer is 676S100246. I do know that it is the one made by yamaha. What I am looking for and cant seem to locate is a water pump impellar and set of coils for this motor. I have the numbers off of the coils that are on it right now and one of them is still firing but the other isnt. They #'s are as follows: CM61-23 and F6T-40G. If anyone can help me PLEASE post as I am pulling my hair out looking for these parts and trying to find out what year it really is. I finally got a set of points for the motor to the tune of $80.00 and found a lower unit Thank god for ebay without having to mortage the house. I have rebuilt everthing else on this motor but need these last 2 items and hopefully some of you good folks can help me with these last pieces. Gonna get 2 coils and keep the one that is still firing as a spare. so HELLLLLLPPPPP Please. Thanks guys for a great site and all the help you have already given me.
