early power trim motor burn out 150 2001 Johnson

I have 150 hp 2001 Johnson-Two issues the tilting tube was not properly maintained causing additional strain on the power trim motor- How can that be cleaned or degreased and relubed-second does the engine have to be pulled off transom to get to all the bolts on the power trim motor? Gee, my '98 Johnny 150HPV6 has two stainless steel pins that hold the trim motor on. I would think your motor is the same.

You needed to pull the pins out of the electrical connector and remove it, to get the PTT wire out of the cowling, and then pull the keepers and pins and the PTT motor would drop out the bottom of the transom clamps.
