I saw this website called earthnc.com
It uses the google mapping software and what it can do is the following:
you narrow down the location on the water you want to go - you can then click your right mouse button and a pop comes up telling you the gps coordinates of the location you chose.

Anyone know how accurate this is - my main usage would be to find the middle of a certain area (a cove) where I can waterski etc. I know that doing this for the bouy markers may not be ok, since the bouy markers sometimes move around etc..

Any experience with this free software - or can you advise on some other website to use ?
Thanks.

If you're just using it to get the coordinates, you can get those directly from Google maps. Just right click on the map and choose "What's here?" The coordinates will now be in the search bar above the map.
