Eatons Viking 3.5 *pic* Year made? Worth?

My grandfather just gave me a Eatons Viking 3.5 hp motor, he doesnt remember what year it is and I am curious to what its worth, IE are these decent motors or gonna be tinkering all the time. It has minor garage scuffing, but overall very nice clean condition. I found a pic of one like it but mine is in way better shape, Im sure it will go with some fuel but dont know the ratio either . any help would be apprieciated. Thanks in advance

I don't know much about Vikings, but that looks like an aircooled Westbend so I assume its from the 1960-70's. Post the model number and someone can tell you.

Its value, sadly, is only sentimental.

Hi,...I think you will find the motor you have (albeit and old message thread) is

1. a 1967
2. model 34701
3. missing the starter cord assembly

There is currently one listed on kijiji,...but the price will chang eexponentially with the condition
