Edelbrock Slows after 3000 rpms and sounds like it is bogging down. Carb clean inside with new accelerator pump. Any ideas? fuel pressure is 4 beginning accelleration, 3 during running to 3000 rpms. Too little fuel pressure ?Thank you, John

I have the same carb, That fuel pressure is perfect. Is the carb new to you? Has it always had this problem?

Not new, had for 6 years, it used to get to 4400 rpms. We have been living with the problem for 4 years, then finally decided to tackle it this year.

Timing can also impact how well the motor is doing. The EST distributor (in another thread) needs to be set correctly

Agree, fuel pressure is good enough

Check compression, and what do the plugs look like?

check compression
make sure your flappers are where they are supposed to be and have not dropped down the y-pipe
check the quality of your fuel
