Is this a good carb for a chevy 350 with .040 over pistons, flat lifters, Edelbrock performer intake, pushing a 24 foot fiberglass?

It's a great carb, I run one on mine. Nice thing is all the gaskets are above the fuel leve so they never get wet, dry out and then shrink. Easy rebuild if you ever do have a problem but that's pretty rare.

Just even more proof that small block Chevies do not need a ton of carburetion. Thanks for the first hand experience, Mkos.
