Just thought I would share for those compiling a list, this is from the manufacture.
I was asking about construction on a 1999 boat:
did not switch over to all composite until late 2000. The transom that year was composite, but the deck coring and fuel tank cover were made with balsa core.

Natural wood is not considered a composite. I'm suprised at you dingbat, one of the forum gurus.

I had some fellow boatbuilders work for them several years ago. At that time they were using Nida-Core and some new type of sprayable core. There were many boatbuilders in my area using composites at one time. Where did they all go? We were building a 28footer using composites and vacuume bagging. We went out of business....very expensive to build.

I probably shouldn't be butting my nose in here, but...

Natural wood isn't a composite material, but isn't Fiberglass AND Wood considered a composite material?

Not amongst boatbuilders around here.....but you may have a point, jprice.

I can think of some other builders using "composite material" only.

Off the top of my head I think Everglades, Regulator, Hydra Sports all do. Almost all Sportfish built around here use composite core.
