Hey guys -
I'm about to apply the nautolex I got to my boat's sole (the one in my sig), and I'm wondering what others have done for edging on the gas tank hatch.
The hatch currently is just a tight fit into the deck, and other than a thin line and some screw heads there's no indication of a hatch there in the carpet.
With the nautolex I could do the same, but I think it'll be a bit more visible.
Or, I could edge the hatch with aluminum angle... it runs all the way to the cuddy step, so no funny curves to worry about. I'm a bit worried about encouraging water to leak into the tank space this way, more than it would without the aluminum.
I got the shark colored nautolex if that makes a difference.
What do you all think? Other suggestions?
