Elec. Help PLEASE !

I bought an 1984 Johnson 90 HP motor, on a boat.
Removed it and all controls cables, exc. installed it on my boat.
Motor runs fine, but you can't stop it !! also when you are standing on the ground ( running with muffs) and touch the key, you get ZAPPED BAD !
any ideas ?? Thanks !

black wire with yellow chaser, is kill wire, open your controller and see what is loose, causing shock, bet you find your kill problem also.

Thanks ! But I found the prob. black wire (Ground) was broken in the cable, found it by ohming each wire out. between the control box and engene plug.
