I am looking at changing my manual winch to electric, not shure how many ft/lbs I need, the boat is a 2007 Bayliner 215 with a 350 ci on a Karavan trailer with bunks
Any ideas?

I have a Powewinch 712 on a 2400 pound 19 footer on an all roller trailer and use a single line.

For yours I would suggest the 912. You might even have to go double line pull. Not because of the size of the boat, per se', but because of your pesky bunks. Along with the winch I would put glyde slicks on the bunks.

They sell them right here at a very good price. Some say there are models better than Powerwinch. All I can say is mine is on its 31st season of effortless boating - best investment I ever made.

Thanks for the help, the reason for the change is my friend who helps me launch and retrieve has lost the use of his right arm due to a stroke and I think a power winch will be easier this summer

Then something like this might be the even better solution but unfortunately your boat is a tad to long and heavy:

May be worth to contact them. I've seen one in action and was surprised how well it worked.
