I have a 55lb 12V electric outboard and would like to extend the power cables, just wondering what sort of electrical cable i would need to to do this.
Any replies would be much appreciated.
The cable size you need depends on how far you intend to extend them. They need to be at least the same size as the current motor wires. But 6 or 4 gauge would be in order if you are going more than just a couple feet.
