I would like to start the fact t hat I tried to hire someone to install all the electronics (GPS, Trolling Motor, Radio, Speakers, NMEA 200 Backbone, etc) and people will get back to you pretty quick saying they can do it but getting them to actually schedule a time to do the work can be quite frustrating. So I decided to do the work myself. I started with the Minn Kota Ulterra 24 volt trolling motor using a quick dis mount option. Wiring is ran to the back of the boat and waiting for Optima batteries and circuit breaker to connect. Mounted the transducer to the right of the outboard, drilled the hole through the transom (yes I used 5200 to fill the hole). I figured out where I wanted my Helix 9 and radio in the console and used a drill and jigsaw puzzle to cut of the templates and used a file to clean it up and both are mounted.

I would like to use some type of board or fiberglass panel to mount my fuse box and buss bars so that can remove the panel in the future if needed and also for making the install look cleaner. I have also purchased the correct wire and connectors (tinned copper wire and heat shrink crimp on connectors.

I'm looking for any other recommendations such as material for panel, mounting options, etc. Pictures included for clarity

Boat Details: 2020 Sundance DX22, Yamaha 115

Most any type material that won't conduct electricity should work. Actually even metal that does conduct electricity should work as long as you have insulators between the buss bars and the materiel. You could even make an aluminum box with a removable panel to house all your electrical connections and have no issues. Just be sure to use proper sized rubber grommets any time wires run into and out from that housing. JMHO
