electric shift to tiller arm conversion

I just purchased a 1987 25hp Merc with electric start. I was wondering if it is possible to add a tiller arm instead of hooking up a steering wheel and control box to my boat. <br />I just purchased a manual for the motor, but it does not mention anygthing on this topic.<br />Any info is appreciated.<br />Thanks, <br />Bro Chris...

Any dealer should be able to tell you.

Thanks DJ. I was just wondering cause in the manual there are 25hp o/b's with tiller arms and some without. <br />For my application a tiller arm is better.<br />I'll call my dealer and see how much one is, unless of course ebay has one.<br />Cheers, <br />Bro Chris...
