electric start kit for a Merc 25hp Bigfoot?

Here's where I am stumped:<br />The 25hp Bigfoot manual start motor came with a 6 amp alternator. What I got planned in "phase 2" of my mod is to get this motor to charge my battery, and possibly switch it to electric start.<br />DO I NEED TO UPGRADE TO THE 15 AMP ALTERNATOR KIT?<br />DO I NEED ANY THING ELSE TO GET THIS MOTOR TO CHARGE MY BATTERY? (Cables, harnesses)? The 15 Bigfoot just requires a harness & battery cables, but the 25 shows N/A.<br /><br /><br />The same holds true for a electric start conversion kit. I know some of you iboat bloggers are motor mechanics or work in a parts department at a boat shop.. If Mercury doesn't make it, perhaps someone else does?
