electrical fault

Hi Guys and a happy new year for 2013, my question is I have strange electrical fault my engine runs fine its now done 13 hours from new but what I have going on is all the gauges spike for about 15=20 seconds then go back to normal the engine runs fine while this is happening.

Any ideas of what I need to look at.

Ayuh,.... I'd start with cleanin', 'n inspectin' the Ground path, from the dash to the battery's (-) post....

A tiny bit of corrosion can do all sortsa weird things...

yeah, that's for sure a loss of ground to the gauge panel, without ground, the gauges get full power without being able to show the sender resistance.. so they spike..
