Can I eliminate the clipper circuit assembly? Anyone know how this is done? I recently replaced my voltage rectifier and while installing it, I saw a small burnhole in the clipper circuit assembly, looking for a replacement was $125 but I was told you can bybass this assembly. Anyone know how? what wires to switch? Please help....I am lost without any info....<br />tommy<br /><br />1971 60 hp 3 cyl Evinrude motor, with electric shift.....anymore infor needed? I have the wiring diagram/manual :confused: :confused: :confused:

Isn't it connected to a pole strip? Just disconnect the clipper wires and remove the clipper.

But i was told i had to move the power wire for the rectifier, since the clipper acts like a distrubutor...someone mentioned moving the red power on the rectifier from #7 to #9 but I don't know if I heard him correctly....any ideas?
