Electro thermal cold start valve pic

1998 merc 9.9 "bodansee"

Dealing with a carb issue on my 9.9 and was wondering if anyone has a pic of the electrothermal valve that installs on top of the carb. Needing a pic of it out of the carb......thinking part of mine may be broken and stuck in the carb. Thanks

2 or 4 stroke? have a serial number for your motor handy?

and a pic looking down at carb where electrothermal valve mounts? i think part of my electrothermal valve isjammed down into carb. thanks for any help

Are the pictures and test procedure in 3B of the manual not helping?

hey gerry, yes i looked at that one but was looking for a pic of an actual one. thinking mine is jammed down in the tube inside carb and stuck, i removed the valve and all that is on the bottom of it is the black end of the valve, thinking the "barrel" end wiht the pointed tip is stuck in my carb. thats why i wanted to make sure before i gorrilla it out of the carb.
