I have a pontoon boat and it seems electrolysis is causing a great deal of pitting on the pontoons. How do you find the source of the electrolysis? Will adding more zinc plates help?
wind,<br /><br />Yes, more zincs will help.<br /><br />In the meantime, make sure NO electrical components are grounded to the tubes or deck structure. Everything must be grounded to the battery.
