Electronic Choke problem

I have a '94 Johnson 150 Fast Strike. I push in the key to activate the choke but it's not working. If I take the hose loose from the intake area and push the key in, it spits out fuel. What can I check to see why its not working when it reaches the engine?

The primer on that mtr works when you are cranking the mtr over and have the key pushed in. Then fuel will **** into the intake manifold . The fuel lines run from the primer to nipples in the intake manifold.

boobie, when I disconnect the hose from the intake manifold and try to blow in the nipple, it feels like its completely stopped up. Are you saying this is normal and while the engine is turning over it won't be like that?
