I am looking to add a bit of waterproofing/salt spray protection to the back side of a Furuno depthfinder.
The finder is exposed to salt spray on the backside, where the transducer and power cables plug in, along with an exposed ground wingnut.

Is there some spray-on product that would provide a seal against the elements?

I like Dow Corning 111 non hardening silicone paste for a lot of areas on my boat.

I have a Furuno as well. I use di-electric in/on the connections and leave the rubber caps on the unused the connections. Five years now without a hint of problems
