I was given a 1962 motor. It is really hard to start and overheats.I am guessing the waterpump or thermostat(if it has one ) are bad.<br />I don't have a workshop manual. Any ideas out there?<br />Thanks, Dave
Howdy, Dbrit. Your waterpump is probably not working and your carb and fuel pump probably need to be cleaned. I used to get Elgin parts from Sears, maybe they still have them. <br /><br />Good luck.<br />Red sky at night. . . <br />JB
