I have an Elgin 7.5 HP outboard motor Model 571.58762 and need some parts, water pump impeller, coils and a few others. Are parts available for this motor? It seems to be an early 50's motor.
I started with 1 elgin, some how I ended up with 3 of them all are 7.5 . two of the eng were shot but the tail ends were in good shape. m/n 571-6166 & 571-7412498 this one has a good water pump also has the neutral shifter. ALSO HAVE 7.5 M/N 571-58751 this is a complete good running eng, if any of this is any good to you or any one else contact me at papagoos@mchsi.com.
