I have a 1989 120 Looper and a 1989 30hp. (Both Evinrudes). I had a battery die on me one time while fishing with the 120 and I was able to sabotage a shoe lace and pull start the motor. It was a life saver that time. I would like to make up 2 emergency pull start ropes. one for the 120 and one for the 30. Rarely do i have shoes on board or line small enough to wrap around the flywheel. What size rope should I use for the emergency rope
