Wow..........sucks to be you!

Move down here. We have days in December and January where the temp reaches the high 70's. We can boat year round.

Partially, I got her drained last weekend and she's going in the shop on Tuesday for the full treatment. I'm also ordering a storage cover (which is a good thing, since the travel cover is not handling the snow well at all).

We should be back into the 60s by Monday or Tuesday, so things aren't quite as bleak as they appear.

Lower your outdrive. Shouldn't be stored in the up position. The bellows will develop a 'set' and the water is more likely to accumulate/freeze in the wrong places.

Here in Delaware, the forecast is mid to upper 70's for the weekend. Water temps in the 70's.

What is winterizing?

Lol

It's that thing thousands of Floridian boaters never do that keeps engine block makers and engine builders happy when thousands of orders from Floridians come pouring in... because, ya know, 60-watt light bulbs hanging in the bilge ain't winterizing.

I drop in to remind the snotty Floridians of this whenever they get, well... snotty.

. Boat on, Floridians. Boat on...

I plan to... I need to block the trailer to have room to lower the drive and still keeping an aft trim so she'll drain. I'm waiting until after I trailer her over to the shop for winterizing next week to do that.
