so i recently came across a pair of endura trolling motors. One, i know is a 30lb thrust, but the second, and larger one, is completely unmarked as far as i can see. neither motor has the top end with it, consisting of the 5 speed switch and tiller handle, but has a red, black, yellow, and white wire coming out of the shaft. now seeing as i got such a deal on these motors (free
) id like to fix them and put them to use, but before i put a lot, or any money into them, id like to know if they work at all, because their condition is completely unknown, beside a basic visual inspection which was promising.
so what im asking is if there is some way to test the motor without the 5 speed switch to see if it works...
