Engine alignment tool

Are the tools sold on Ebay as good as the factory Mercruiser alignment tool? The Mercruiser is twice the cost,but if the others are not a good tool, i'd rather buy the Merc tool from the start.

Don't be fooled, you're paying for the Mercruiser name. Get the one on ebay. Myself & many others have done the same.

Ayuh,....

It's a pretty Simple Tool,...

I've got a copy of the Cheapie,+ it works Just Fine....

It's just a 1.375" dia piece of steel.

I made one on my neighbors lathe in about an hour.

The name on the box doesn't change it's dimensions...
