now imagine everytime a piston gets to tdc or bdc. it is literaly stoped and then changes directions.........

Would like to have had that when my son was 10-12 years old. Several times I tried to find a cutaway model of an engine so he could see what was going on.

I especially like the animation where the distill it down to one cylinder. It doesn't make you nauseous trying to follow all the moving parts like it does with all four cylinders going at once.
