The belt on my boat looks old and dry, should this be replaced? how often? where can i get it and do they install easy? thx

Yes, it's called preventive maintenance, fix it now instead of while you are out on the water and need towed in.

how often?

When they start looking bad, they should be replaced. There is no set time. Rusty pulleys can destroy a new belt in an hour.

They may not be "Easy" to install, boat manufacturers could care less if you can't get to something to fix it.
Up in the Adults only sticky are links to download the service manuals, and owners manuals for your engine and drive. On belts, the owners manual usually shows better info than the service manual.
