Engine boggs down and cuts off

My engine boss down and cuts out once throttle is over 1/4 of the way up.
I have a 150 Mariner V6. Heres what I have done thanks to the help of this forum:

tore down carbs cleaned did not use new gaskets but everthing seemed OK and no groove in the needles or problems with the float.

replaced fuel filter and all fuel lines

did a vacuum test on the fuel pump. had over 3 inches of pressure so I'm assuming I'm good there.

checked water pump inpeller seemed fine put back in place with a light greasing.

Attached a cheap spark tester and the top two cylinders had strong popping sound that seemed very timed. The rest seem to pop not as strong and rather intermittently.
I'm assuming my problem lies here but not sure what to do next.
I have read mixed threads on here. Ive read that if one cylinder works it cant be the stator but then I read that there is low speed stator and a high speed stator. If this is the case I would assume its the high speed stator. I also read somewhere it could be the rectifier which is a cheap fix.

I have no idea what a DVA is are how to use it. So a brief description would help if I need to use one.
