boat is a 1979 terry bass boat with a 75hp evinrude out board!!! Just replaced the fuel pump on it.. Starts up good but when you go to throttle it, it will bog down and die out!!!! Now the weird thing... The lever that says lift to start witch gives it a little gas to start it will rev up and sound great.. With this pulled up I can work the carbs on the engine by hand and it revs up and dosent cut out!!! Now when I try it with the throttle control it sounds like it's choking it's self out and dying.... This has been a headache for me for the past couple weeks... Any info would help thanks

Take it the fuel pump didn't do it for you. Have you done any other work? carbs, compression, spark?

Before the new fuel pump it never wanted to start!! With the new pump it starts up and idles great! It has great spark in all 3 cylinders.. Sprayed fuel in each carb and it runs like it should!! Only does it under load.. Reverse and forward!! It will rev up all the way and sound great acts up in gear

You spray fuel in when it's under load, and it throttles up? Likewise, successfully operating the throttle linkage by hand when under load? Offhand, sounds like carb issues, but you may be dropping a cylinder or two on acceleration. Additionally, compression check would be a good idea. How did you measure spark?
