Key switch should have 2 ‘m’ posts that connect together when key is ‘off’. One wire goes to engine ground, the other to cd box. When key is off, engine ground connects to the cd box kill circuit, stopping all spark. Check for continuity between m posts when switch is off. Wire from one m terminal goes to engine ground, the other to cd box (under flywheel on your model/year). There is a black wire w/yellow stripe in the wiring harness exiting from under flywheel..follow that wire to a small, single pin connector. Unplug and check continuity engine ground to black wire-side pin at that connector, with ignition off. If you see ground there, cd box should be seeing ground and stop spark. If you still have spark when that wire is grounded, bad cd box or bad wire. Hope this helps!
