engine damage?

Hey guys a question here.I attempted a decarb today in a barrel and let it rum for 2 or three minutes and noticed it was not pumping water.Probably critters in side.How long can a engine go without water?I did not notice from all the smoke.I did not restart it, have to check the lu and flush it. is it toast?

change the impeller and get it pumping again. Do a compression test to see if it has good compression. You may not have hurt it, but a few tests will tell.

Assuming you have one you may want to check telltale tube to see if it is plugged also.
