engine hatch repair

engine hatch was delaminating removed it and cut under the bottom of hatch expecting to see plywood instead found pieces of wood pushed together and fiberglassed in my question is do i have to replace with the same or can i replace with 1 piece of plywood instead? thanks r dondero sr

I can't imagine it would be an Issue,.......<br />A Single piece of Plywood would be My Choice.......<br /><br />But,.... You're There,+ Can See It..... I Can't.....
