Engine I.D help

This is every number off the engine. I need to know year and any other info.<br />right above big GM letters is 348675 the numbers 84 are under the GM letters Then A155 above the starter and G0N2 beside it???? Anything from that ???

Brad,<br /><br />Go back to the plate above the starter. You're looking for a 7 digit number. The plate will be identified as "Mercury Marine", and will probably have the words "Fond-a-lac, Wisconsin" on it too.<br /><br />Chris..........
