Ok. My turn to ask questions.

Thinking about redoing my engine fuel lines beins it is an '02 model; or at least having the parts on hand to fix it when it breaks. Have been all over www and can't find two things:

Zip ties or what ever you call them that lock the hoses in place (use specific, like achris showed a picture of the other day) specifically designed for Merc at least engines, and a fuel line replacement kit for my engine that contains all the pre-bent hoses used in the engine.

Engine is an '02 90 triple 2 stroke with S/N 0T 525XXX.....obviously the triple X is my specific engine identifier and I supplied enough of the SN to get where I need to be.

Thanks

Mark

Hi there Mark, are you looking for item number 18, http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show...ON/4663.png&inbr=3374&bnbr=80&bdesc=Fuel+Pump

Merc part number 69355 TIE STRAP, (5.50 Inches)

I believe you'll find your other parts in the link above as well. If not, here should be your parts catalog to look through.

I don't believe there is going to be a "Hose Kit" you'll have to order them individually.

Hope this helps, Good luck.:)

For the fuel line clamps, part number 18, I randomly found these at walmart in the automotive section with the other clamps. They came in a bag with a bunch of different sizes and they were called "Emergency Fuel Clamps". I think it was $3 for a bag of 20 in varying sizes. Merc is probably better quality obviously, but if you need them quicker than having them shipped...

Probably less expensive to simply get the correct shaped radius-ed Zip ties from the dealer and good hose from NAPA. I replace hoses on all the motors that I rebuild and some that I service and follow this procedure. Occasionally I have to get a shaped hose. Tighten the Zip ties using the tie tool or I find it better to use the the tip of a wide screwdriver and a pair of pliers to tighten them.
