Engine issues 2002 Mercury XL SWB 2 stroke

When I run my motor in gear over 1/4 throttle and trim up or down the motor kicks up. Hard to explain but here is a video with the problem happening.

I can play with the trim until I get it to a happy place and it stops.

You have a stator or rectifier problem as motor is missing. When it shuts off forward motion and water force engine to raise. better get it fixed before it leave ya stranded.
