Engine Jumps

Clearly a worn out clutch dog. It is coming out of gear, rotating half a revolution, and slamming back into gear. Very well known problem.

Lower unit needs to be taken apart for repairs / inspection.---------Keep running it like that and it will come apart by itself.

I am thinking of using Volvo Penta Full synthetic trans oil gearcase lube 1141679 over the recommended omc hi vis gear case lube. Any suggestions on that? [h=1][/h]

That oil will not prevent it from jumping out of gear.

I just ordered everything I need to fix that problem. Just looking for opinions on the gear oil situation.
