I've been doing some searching and have found the free online mercruiser manual #13 online thanks to numerous postings from Don S.

I have a 1992 Stingray with a Mercruiser 3.0 LX with the follwoing serial # (above the starter on a tag): 721342 (also on the flame arrestor cover)

It looks like manual #13 covers serial numbers after mine. Does anyone (Don S) know which I need to order?

I want to do a full tune up, carb rebuild, and impeller change. I have the manual for the alpha 1 gen 2, Thanks Don S!

TIA for any assistance.

That is either not all the SN or it's the wrong number.
You should have a 0C123456 type number. The letter and the 6 numbers following are the actual SN.
But, since your engine falls in the 90 to 97 range, manual #13 is the one for your engine.

Don S:

Yup, I missed the letters. It was dark out last night. Here is a pic of the tag near the starter:

and a pic of the flame arrestor cover:

Looks like the tag near the starter is missing the first letter...

So 13 is the manual I need? That's great news as I believe that's also a free online manual. The day is looking better already. Now I just need to see if I can find plugs and a fuel flter locally and I can get some of the easier things changed over today.

Looking back at the pictures I need to groom the dog before she goes out on the boat again. There's sheppard hair everywhere...
