engine oil

Is there really a big difference between marine 4 stroke engine oil, and automotive grade oil, or just the price? thanks

Hi Paul,<br /><br />I have used a synthetic 10w-30 weight oil in my Mastercraft for the last 4 years. Still running strong. I would still take into consideration the conditions - temperature, dust, pollution, etc...
