Engine Position on plane

I was out today for some fishing and noticed when we got on plane that water was spraying up the starboard side at the transom, spraying the motor. It was trimmed down and there was no spray on the port side. I remember some pics on here of how it should look and I went back and on the port side I could see the anti cavitation plate(or right above it, maybe a few inches) Is there something on the starboard side that might be drawing water up?

Thanks

Speedo pitot or depthfinder transducer? I had a wave coming over mine, took both those off and it's gone.
