it has been a while since i have posted anything but i have finally set the engine stringer mount and then droped the motor in
bolted up the back transom mounts and started to try and allinge the motor and had to drop the adjuster bolt all the way down so i pulled the motor back out and added a 1" more of stringer wood. so when i put the motor back in even before i tighten the transom motor mount bolts up i notice that i can move the engine from side to side is that suppost to happen i replaced the rear rubber mounts but not the bolts since they where still in new condition.. the other question is the allingment tool i got does messure what we have on here for the coupler splines the messurement is 1.010 but will not go into the coupler??? what do i do now? and also on the trim limit and senders on the stern is there a way some one can post a link or a picture of the wireing for them i sence had to replace them do to a mouse eating thw wireing... the trim pump i replaced was a 1980 and put in a 1973. do to the fact there was no reveres switch on the shifting area...
please some one help.....
