Im having issuse with my pontoon motor. Its a 99 40hp mercury. Issuse im having is the motor has lost power and the rpms are around 500 to 600 rpms on idle and when i accelerate the rpms go to 800 or max and speed is about 5 mph. It sat for about 6 years with no work done while it sat in our yard untill this year we worked on it to getting running ahain. We had the carbs cleaned out, new prop, spark plug, fuel line and new battery. Need some help on what else i can check or do to getting working as it once was.
