Ok I have a 2011 yamaha f115 with 4 blade prop. It's attached to a 26 foot pontoon. The whole season I had no ventilation issues and would trim it pretty center maybe a tad lower than center with no issues . This season immeduatky upon launching and after a couple runs I have o keep to motor almost all the way down to avoid ventilation. Nothing has changed and boat is 1 year old with motor having 38 hours on it. Just at a loss to why this has changed something has to b up. Wondering if it couk b anything engine related as I'm grasping a straws. I've also tried a different 3 blade prop thinking I had a spun hub and does the same thing but not as nbad. Thxs

Could it be possible you have more weight near the bow - forward of center line - that would cause the boat to be more nose heavy than before.. like water in the forward seat storage - more batteries added - anything that could cause the front to dip and cause the stern to lift. Check the underside of the (can't think of the name of it) the pan that is just forward of the motor. Is it bent? Anything that could be disturbing the path of the motor. I do know my buddies 24ft pontoon will do that if he gets too many people riding up front.

The only thing that has changed is I installed a crone under deck ladder at the front of my pontoon floor. But it only weighs 13 lbs can't see that having any effect. This is just weird noone seems to have any ideas. Boat looks and sits in the water the same as at the end of last season.
